31 Days of Gratitude Journal: Day 30

I’m thankful that we had snow yesterday and the kids were able to play in it safely whilst I was working. “It’s the little things” they say. This “little thing” made a lot of difference in how our day started yesterday; meaning I could work without any distraction for the first few hours.

As they were playing, my second daughter exclaimed “and God is even whiter than snow. How amazing is that!”

This gave me something to ponder on all through the day. I meditated on God’s beauty and holiness. His creativity and uniqueness. Just like my daughter, I am in awe of Him.

  1. I’m thankful to be able to help my daughter grade Spanish essays for her homeschooled group of students. It reminds me of when I used to teach. There were actually some good things about those days!

  2. I am thankful for all the time the Lord gave me with my husband, my four children, my four children-in-law, and my 14 grandchildren this past year. Covid did hamper that somewhat in some ways but in other ways I feel it brought us closer together as a family. It was a good year!
