31 Days of Gratitude Journal: Day 28

Two nights ago my husband had to take one of my daughters to the hospital because she was feeling unwell.

The doctor that assessed her initially told them that there was nothing wrong with her and that they should go home. My husband insisted on him running a blood test. Thankfully he did that because the test revealed what the problem was. They were given medication and sent home afterwards.

Today I’m thankful that God took control of the situation and that we got the help we needed. I’m thankful also that my daughter is feeling better.

Let me know what you are thankful for in the comment section.

  1. I am thankful that our daughter gave us a gift called “Every Plate.” It includes all of the ingredients and recipes for four delicious meals. It gives us a variety instead of the same things that we have so often. Tonight, we had pork tacos with pineapple. They were excellent. We have enough for one special meal per week and have another delivery coming in January. I’m very grateful for our children and their thoughtfulness.
