31 Days of Gratitude Journal: Day 17

It’s becoming challenging writing this journal because I feel like I have mentioned all the obvious things that have happened in my life this year. However, it’s equally exciting because it’s making me think deep and helping me notice the blessings that I take for granted daily.

Today I’m thankful that I’ve been able to save this year. The costs of childcare is very high and having to pay that for 3 kids hasn’t been fun. But as I now work from home, I’ve not had to pay for childcare since March. I’m able to take a late lunch break in order to pick my kids from school.

Not going out for months meant that travel costs was also banked. This is a huge blessing for us. So thank you God for helping me do this.

What are you thankful for? Please share in the comment section.

  1. I’m thankful that I was able to save money for Christmas and stay within budget this year. Praise God! I had to buy for three children, their spouses and nine grandchildren plus my brother, sisters and husband. Usually, I have to resort to a lot of credit card usage, but I didn’t this year. 😊
