31 Days of Gratitude Journal: Day 7

On the 2nd of January, the Holy Spirit told me to build this year. This was my word for 2020. He wanted me to focus on building my finances and He highlighted the need for us to have extra streams of income. This was before the pandemic started. So in February I started a business. Unfortunately this business was greatly impacted by the pandemic.

In July I reconnected with someone who I haven’t spoken to in 12 years and she introduced me to an online business which I sceptically joined. Thankfully the capital was very small so there was no risk involved. This business that seemed like a waste of time when I joined has blown my mind. It’s great to see how God is using what I despised initially to support our finances.

I am thankful to God for helping me step out of my comfort zone and for giving me the willingness to learn something new. Joining the online business felt like an unwise thing to do at the time. But retrospectively I can see how God orchestrated my path into it. God truly sees the end from the beginning and He knows what is best for us.

What are you thankful for today? Please share in the comment section.

  1. I am blessed by your testimony. It’s fantastic that God opened that door for you at just the right time. I have been blessed with family connections, especially my brother in FL who is a Fire Chief/Paramedic and who has been checking on me consistently. I’m thankful for medical help when I needed it (I broke my foot in September) and I’m thankful for all of the people still working in the stores so that we can do pick up of our groceries.

  2. I’m thankful for the gift of a healthy and active baby. This year has been rough for so many families and it’s been filled with events that were unprecedented for the entire world.
I’m grateful I can celebrate an addition to my family and the joy that comes with this gift.
