31 Days of Gratitude Journal: Day 3

Today i’m thankful for strength. Like everyone else, this year has been one that has stretched me a lot. I switched jobs in May and whilst I was going through training at work, I had to homeschool my girls as I also was looking after my preschooler. This took a lot of strength which I know I naturally don’t have. Even though I enjoyed the chance to spend more time with my kids, juggling all of these amidst other responsibilities I carry was very challenging. There is no way I could have done these without God’s help.

So I thank God for giving me the strength I needed and for carrying me through.

It’s now your turn to share one thing you are thankful for in 2020 in the comment section :). Let’s tell the world about the goodness of our God.

  1. I was thankful for lockdown, probably the one of maybe 4 people in the world who is thankful for it lol. I really feel like it was God’s provision and an opportunity to learn a thing or 2 and be reminded of some important stuff.

  2. I’m so thankful that my family and I have stayed healthy. We were exposed to Covid via our son back in March, the last time we visited him. We were there one day when he got sicker than I have ever seen him. He stayed away from us, but we had basically already been exposed. When he called about a Covid test, the health dept. in MD said that they weren’t giving them unless the person needed to be in the hospital. My son had all of the symptoms and stayed in bed for our entire visit. Later, he was able to get an antibody test and it was positive, so he did have Covid. No one else in the household got it, including his two little ones and us, the elderly. So, we were blessed then and we have been blessed since then with health. I usually get immunotherapy shots once a month to build up my compromised immune system, but I stopped getting them in March because the hospital where I get them had lots of Covid patients. Nevertheless, I have remained healthy. So, long story short. I am very thankful for the health of all of my family and me.

    1. What a beautiful testimony sis. I’m so thankful to God for you. Reading your daily testimonies and the ones others share puts a huge smile on my face. In all, we can still see God’s hand and we thank Him for that!
