As we celebrate easter, it’s important for us to look at our lives and examine if we are followers of Jesus Christ or true disciples. What is our relationship with Jesus Christ like? Do we pick and choose the part of His commandments to obey? Judas was a follower but his heart wasn’t in it.
Where your treasure is, there lies your heart. Judas’ heart was in money and as a result he was willing to betray Jesus Christ for money. Yes we come to church just like Judas was following Jesus about, but what is that sin or pleasure that we aren’t willing to sacrifice for God? Not all that say Lord, Lord will go to heaven. Is He truly our Lord? Can we sincerely say yes to this question? Do we value or relationship with Him? What does He mean to you personally?
And if you are just a mere follower, why not choose to take your relationship with Him into a new level from now on? No better time to do it.
It’s always a good thing to reflect on our relationship with Christ. I know there are always things I can work on. Thanks for the reminder
Be blessed

This is a really good way to look at it. Where are we and our walk with Him?

These are some great questions to ask as we celebrate Easter. Are we merely a believer in Christ or a disciple of Christ? Are we putting our selfish and sinful needs before the cross and letting Jesus back into our lives?

Amen! Our relationship with Him can’t be in appearances only. We must sacrifice every part of us to truly follow Him.
