That Pain Isn’t a Waste

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Romans 8:28

God is not a God of waste. He has a way of using every tear, every pain, every sorrow to make us better. I believe as children of God, that the hand of God is on our lives. He doesn’t milk out the sweet experiences and ditch the bitter ones. No! He uses everything for our own good.

I have realised that every pain i have gone through in life, has made me a better person. Trust God not only with your good days but also with your bad days. Trust Him with your flaws. Trust Him with everything. You will soon realise the reason for that disappointment. Don’t hold on to that pain for too long. Release it to God so He can do something with it. Surrender your mess to God so He can use it to make a message. We are clays in His hands. He is the porter. The clay isn’t always pretty but the porter uses that ugly clay to make the beautiful pot everyone admires.

That pain isn’t a waste. That abuse, divorce, breakup and loss is for a purpose. Don’t be ashamed of where God picked you from. Without the former there won’t be the later. Your story cannot be complete without the former you. Never be ashamed of your journey. In the end, it will all make sense.

Life is like a jigsaw puzzle. The pieces of the puzzle are the different events that happen to us in life. If you take one out, the puzzle won’t be complete.

When the puzzle comes together, you will understand why you had to go through that path with thorns. Your life mistakes are parts of your journey. They are part of what makes you you. Embrace the whole of you and watch God use every bit of the puzzle to make a beautiful picture.
