We wake up every morning with the gift of a new day. Every day is made by God. Yes every day. The good day, the bad day, the day you are hired, the day you are fired, the day you are cured, the day you are diagnosed, the day you have enough, the day you have nothing, the day you laugh, the day you cry, the day you gain, the day you lose. They are all created by God.
This is the day the Lord has made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24).
Our attitude towards today is up to us. The psalmist said, “we will rejoice and be glad in it”.
Regardless of what the day has started like, make a decision to be glad. There is always a joy hidden inside of you. All you need to do is remove the trash from the top of the soil and begin to dig deep into the soil. Move past the bad news and dig deep to find a good news. Remember it could have been worse. Someone somewhere is going through worse. Life is all about perspective. Never forget the analogy of a cup filled halfway. What one person sees as half empty, another sees as half full. Sometimes, it isn’t really as bad as our minds paints it to be. What can you see? How are you seeing it? Choose to view today from a good perspective and you will discover how quickly a not so good day can turn into a not so bad day 🙂.
