Passport – Daily Prompt

The only passport to heaven is salvation through Jesus.

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John We obtain salvation when we believe in Jesus Christ. Just as loving a country and talking about that country doesn’t automatically make you a citizen of the country, talking about heaven without allowing Jesus to come into your heart and you accepting Him as your lord and saviour will not grant you access into heaven. Good works and being nice only won’t grant you access.

“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12).

Do you have the right passport?

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

  1. We’re living in a time where many people believe they’ll get into heaven solely on the basis of the moral values they observe. That couldn’t be any further from the truth. Aside from Jesus’ declaration in John 14:6, Romans 10:9 is also clear on how to get to heaven. Unfortunately, there are many people who want heaven but don’t want Jesus Christ. However, in light of the two verses mentioned above, I’m not sure how they expect to get there.

    1. Well said! Salvation isn’t based on our human works. It is based on the finished work done by Jesus on the cross. God bless you for your comment.
